Chapter Ten

"But I found Juliet in the outbuilding," the monk said accusingly, gazing into my eyes as I stood naked before him. "She says that you tied her up, ripped her habit off and..."

"I was nowhere near the place," I returned, glancing around the dungeon. The whip lay ominously in the corner, as if relishing the idea of tasting the naked flesh of my buttocks. "After you left me, I walked to the stream and sat down," I lied. "I've been there ever since."

"And I believed that you were going to change your ways, not cause us any more trouble," he sighed. "You know what this means, don't you? You'll remain down here under lock and key for good."

"I didn't do anything to Juliet. I haven't seen her all day."

"Are you calling her a liar?" he asked, scowling at me.

"Yes, I am. She should be locked in here, not me."

Watching him leave the room and close the door, I wished that I'd stayed in hiding instead of returning to the nunnery. But they'd have found me sooner or later. Although I'd left the bushes and hidden by the stream, I couldn't have stayed there for ever. Juliet was a bitch. A bitch who deserved all that was coming to her. Once I got my hands on her... Under lock and key for good. The monk's words haunting me, I doubted that I'd ever see Juliet again. My predicament was ridiculous, I reflected, pacing the floor. I'd escaped once, only to be brought back. I'd almost been sold to a man wanting a live-in sex slave... I had to escape the house of sin. Whatever it took, I had to get out of the evil place.

"You've asked for this," the monk said, walking into the room and grabbing my arm. Leading me along the corridor, he dragged me into a room I'd never seen before. "I've just made a phone call," he murmured, wheeling what looked like a gynaecological examination trolley into the centre of the room. Ordering me to lie on my back on the trolley, shook his head. "I really thought that you meant what you said," he sighed, as I lay down. "I'm going to have to deal with you, Mary."

Bending my legs and placing my feet in leather stirrups handing from two upright poles, he gazed at the fleshy swell of my vaginal lips nestling between my parted thighs. I didn't protest as he lowered my arms and cuffed my wrists to the sides of the trolley. My fate was sealed, I knew. Fighting would be pointless. I was to remain locked in the dungeon, probably for the rest of my days. I should never have attacked Juliet. I supposed that I'd had to retaliate in some way. I couldn't ignore that fact that she'd turned against me, carry on as if nothing had happened.

"As I was saying, I've made a phone call," the monk said. "We're going to have some visitors later. In the meantime, I want to test some new devices.
